Martin Hoberg Hedegaard


Martin Hoberg Hedegaard , also known simply as Martin, is a Danish singer who rose to fame as the winner of the first Danish series of the The X Factor, taking the title at the age of fifteen. He is known for singing in a distinctive nasal tone.

Martin was born in the small town of rum in central Jutland, Denmark, and spent his entire life there with his mother Gitta, his father Peder, and his two older brothers Anders and Simon. Before participating in The X Factor, he took singing lessons, and had a minor role in a school musical. He cites his influences as Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Queen, and Michael Bubl.
